Barking dogs

Civic enforcement do not deal with barking dogs.

It is a noise nuisance and environmental health issue.

Constant barking and howling is annoying to neighbours.

It can result in us taking legal action against dog owners for causing a noise nuisance.

If a neighbour’s dog barks constantly and your neighbour does nothing to prevent it, report it to on our noise pollution page.

Environmental health will investigate.

If it is agreed that a statutory nuisance is happening they will serve an abatement notice.
