Here is a brief guide on how to use the online public access service [pdf document].
With our online system you can:
- View and comment on planning applications
- View planning decisions
- View relevant plans and documents
It is available 24 hours a day and you won’t need to travel to the planning office to find out what’s happening near you!
Documents from applications before 2010 are not yet available online. These documents can be viewed by arrangement at the Customer Service Centre in the Town Hall.

What if I don’t have access or don’t want to comment online?
There is a facility to use Public Access on a dedicated computer. This is located in the Reception Area in Customer Services in the Town Hall. You can also view planning application records in the Town Hall.
If you don’t want to comment online there are other ways you can comment on a planning application.
