Serial number
Each Yoto Mini has a unique 14-digit serial number. The serial number is located on the bottom of each Yoto Mini.
Hazard
It has been identified that a small number of Yoto Minis contained a battery that overheated when at a high state of charge, posing a potential burn or fire hazard.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
Yoto are providing everyone who has a Yoto Mini with a free Yoto Mini Smart Cable (one per device) which will charge the battery to a safe level. Yoto have also implemented an automatic software update across all Yoto Minis.
