The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it is inadequately earthed, and does not notify the consumer of this. If the single insulation within the product were to break down during normal use, this would cause the metal parts accessible to the user to become live and give the consumer an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
