Hazard
This product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the plug pins are too close to the periphery of the plug presenting a risk of electric shock, if the consumer plugs the plug into the socket the metal parts of the pings open the socket apertures, causing the earth pin to be sheathed and not properly making contact. This means that the consumers fingers can still touch the plug pins whilst plugged in, causing an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
