The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as live wiring is protected by only basic insulation. Over time, the insulation could break down, and cause the product to become live, giving the user an electric shock. Improvements were also required to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The products have been destroyed.
