The product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug pins are too short and too wide to make proper contact with the connections. As the plug does not make a proper connection with the socket, it could overheat and ignite, causing a fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
