Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire because if an electrical fault were to occur on the product, the fuse would not provide the adequate protection required and the plug could explode from the socket. This could cause the plug to overheat and ignite, causing a fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
