The following notice has been issued by Food Standards Scotland.
Top Scot Foods is recalling various products because they contain soya, which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.

Use-by dates: all use-by dates up to and including 25 September 2024
Onion Slice
Pack size: 200 g
Use-by dates: all use-by dates up to and including 25 September 2024
Square Slice
Pack size: 200 g
Use-by dates: all use-by dates up to and including 25 September 2024
Beef Sausage
Pack size: 200 g
Use-by dates: all use-by dates up to and including 25 September 2024
Breakfast Pack (small)
Pack size: 200 g
Use-by dates: all use-by dates up to and including 25 September 2024
Breakfast Pack (large)
Pack size: 700 g
Use-by dates: all use-by dates up to and including 25 September 2024
Allergen: soya
No other Top Scot Foods products are known to be affected.
Risk
These products contain soya, making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya
Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above products and have an allergy to soya, do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the company
Top Scot Foods is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
