Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire and explosion as it is inadequately earthed. The plug does not have a fuse which is required to protect the product under fault conditions. The product also presents a risk of electric shock as the live pin is too close to the edge of the plug.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
