Hazard
The product presents a high risk of injuries as it has been identified that the top bolt of the front carrier can come loose which can cause the carrier to suddenly block the front wheel whilst in use. This may result in the bicycle coming to sudden stop, potentially resulting in a falling hazard or injury.

The products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 (pedal cycle), or the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 (e-bike).

Corrective action
Gazelle have initiated a modification programme for the affected bicycles and e-bikes. Affected consumer are advised to make an appointment at their Gazelle bike store where a Gazelle specialist can provide an additional reinforcement to the front carrier.

For further details, or to check if your frame number is included in the service action, please access the Gazelle notice.
