Hazard
This product presents a serious risk of fire because the cable can overheat. The mains supply cord had excessive resistance and can become hot during use, leading to it igniting and causing a fire. Improvements are required to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
