Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock due to cabinet production errors. A larger than intended gap between wooden parts of the cabinet can cause some electronic components to be accessible or partially exposed. As a result, a user could come into contact with live parts and receive an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
Blackstar Amplifiers Limited have launched a modification programme for products in scope of the safety issue.
