Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the metal plate upon which the LED elements were mounted, was separated from live parts by only basic insulation. During testing, there was a flashover when the voltage was connected across the input pins and the metal plate housing the LED elements. If the user were to clean or touch/change the bulb while it is still connected to the electrical supply, the product could become live, resulting in the user receiving an electric shock due to the inadequate insulation levels and the possible failure of the basic insulation.

Improvements are also required to marking, labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
