The product presents a high risk of fire and electric shock due to insufficient electrical strength. Under fault conditions, breakdown may occur, causing the product to overheat and ignite, or give the user an electric shock. The plug supplied with the product is considered counterfeit.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
