Eastbourne Sports Complex is home to some of Darlington's most successful Sports Clubs.

We have a superb eight-lane, county standard, synthetic athletics track, with a full range of track and field events, floodlighting and athletics equipment, as well as six 11-a-side football pitches.

Our 3G pitch is specifically designed for use in all weathers and offers support and suspension for the best playing performance.

Refurbishment 

At a recent meeting of the council’s Cabinet a recommendation was passed to progress with proposals to remodel an existing storage building, refurbish the existing athletics track and current floodlighting.

The refurbishment also includes the creation of a new 3G pitch with associated spectators seating, fencing, storage areas and new floodlighting.

There are also plans to convert the existing tarmac netball and tennis courts into a new car park, consisting of 110 spaces, lighting and prefabricated containers to provide the associated changing facilities on the Eastbourne Sports Complex site.
