The main swimming pool at the Dolphin Centre is closed while essential maintenance work is carried out.  The pool is 40 years old and requires structural work to be completed that will ensure that customers can continue to enjoy the pool facilities in the future. 

Main Pool Closure Update – 11.08.23

Cabinet agreed today to extend the current closure of the main pool to January 2024 to allow the additional works to take place avoiding disruption to pool customers in the future.

Booking procedure 

Bookings can be made from 9am, 9 days in advance of activity. 

You can book lane swimming online with your Dolphin Centre Card.

All bookings must be booked and paid for in advanced.

Members

Members can opt to freeze their membership at any time during this period should they wish by emailing [email protected]

Please note that only full month suspensions will be accepted and part months will not be refunded.  To suspend at any point during the closure we need to be notified by the 20^th of the month prior to your requested suspension date.  Please leave your direct debit active on your account as your membership will automatically restart when the main pool reopens.
