Under the Sea

Under the Sea featuring Pirate Island is a nautical adventure for the whole family to enjoy - with lots of interactive features and fun characters!

Arguably the leading play facility in the area, our Soft Play area includes interactive features exclusive to the Dolphin Centre offering activity for children up to the age of 8.

Come and meet Pirate Pete and help the Mermaid Princess find Fin the Dolphin, who has been stolen by Slick and MC the mischievous sharks. Along the way join in the challenge to see if you come across Pirate Pete's treasure.

We have delicious catering facilities, take a look at our menu to see all of the tasty choices available.

Session Times - School Holidays 

During school holidays our soft play area is open for general use, during our opening hours. Just turn up and pay at the soft play reception, check the Dolphin Centre price list

Soft Play - Character Visits

Wednesdays 2pm - 3pm in Under the Sea, normal admission fee applies. 

  • 26th July - Fashion Doll and Unicorn 
  • 2nd August - Princess and Superhero
  • 9th August - Cowgirl and Cowboy
  • 16th August - Princess and Superhero
  • 23rd August - Dorothy and Scarecrow

Normal admission fee applies.

NEW - SEN Session

Coming on 3rd September and will take place every first Sunday of the month. Our SEN sessions are for children with special educational needs with the lights and music turned off where appropriate. 

  • 9am - 10am
  • £4.95 per child
  • Pre-booking is available.

Sessions to take place on 3rd September, 1st October, 5th November and 3rd December.

Our term time sessions are packed with activities to help children meet their recommended daily target of 60 active minutes.

Parent and Toddler 

Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 11:30 (Term Time Only).

  • One hour in soft play area
  • 15 minutes snack time - juice and complimentary healthy snack for child
  • 15 minutes interactive songs and story time

Active Afternoons

Monday to Friday, 13:00 - 15:00 (Term Time Only).

  • 90 minutes in soft play area
  • Juice and a healthy snack

Captain's Tea Time

Monday - Friday, 16:00 - 17:30 (Term Time Only)
